Kathy Reid has over 20 years’ experience with technology, having worked in many disparate fields such as desktop publishing, applications and web programming, video conferencing, digital signage and devops. She currently works as an independent consultant.
Kathy has been heavily involved in open source for the last 10 years, where she was a core team member of LCA Ballarat 2012, LCA Geelong 2016. and is serving her third term on the Linux Australia Council. She ran the first BarCamp in Geelong in 2011 and in 2015 brought GovHack to Geelong.
Kathy holds both Arts and Science undergraduate degrees and holds an MBA (Computing).
