How do we even begin to thank you all enough for making the weekend so special? This year was in our opinion even better than 2015 – with more people, more education and more fun than ever before!
We’re already underway planning the next event, so make sure you’re following us on Twitter, Facebook, and Meetup.com to get all the news as it happens. First up will be a Reunion BBQ in January. We can’t wait!
Since the idea of BuzzConf was first conceived two-and-a-half years ago, it has been mainly the two of us driving the event – and now we’re getting to a size that means we need some help to keep going
Marketing and sales especially take up a lot of time, and we’re looking for help in these areas as well as for people to join an advisory board for the planning of next year. If this is something that interests you, please get in touch.
Thanks to 275 supporters who tweeted about the BuzzConf Festival over the weekend, we reached 630,000 people and created nearly 3,000,000 impressions – leading to #BuzzConf being the #1 trending topic in Australia.
We captured a lot of the Buzz on Social Media over on the 2016 Festival Page so you can catch up now or relive the memories!
If you realised you didn’t come home with everything you expected to have, let us know and we’ll see if anything turned up.
We’d just like one more time to thank each and every one of you for spending your weekend with us at BuzzConf 2016.
Particular thanks go to all of our Presenters, Entertainers and Volunteers; Our principal sponsors: 10 Collective, the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, Elastic, Ocean Labs and The Martec; as well as all of our other partners. Thanks to Frank Wild and Phoenix Park for all their help organising the event, Snaggas for the amazing food, and Beer Mash for the cold beers!
