BuzzConf Festival 2016 is being held at Phoenix Park, Ballan

Did you see those rolling green hills and blue sky on the way over here? It was like the Windows XP desktop background!

BuzzConf is held at Phoenix Park, a short way outside Melbourne, at Ballan, Victoria.

By being outside the city, all the attendees – presenters, keynotes, and guests – will spend the whole weekend together, learning, innovating and having fun!

Huge marquees, fields, indoor lounges and dedicated children’s areas ensure there’s plenty of space for everyone to learn, hack and play.

We think that you’ll get the most from the festival if you’re camping close to the action in either Family Camping, Quiet(er) Corner or Party Animal campsites. All have plenty of power and great wifi access. If you’re coming by car, you can park it on your campsite.

If camping is not your thing – we understand – and we have you covered with dorms and private rooms available too.

Dorms are priced at $100 for 3 nights, with Queen and Twin rooms for $250 subject to availability.

This year we’ll be giving you the option to camp in luxurious style with a range of ‘glamping’ options.

Starting at just $425 and sleeping up to 4, this is a great way for groups to camp together in style! See full prices and details.

Internet and phones

We’ve got awesome coverage on site, with a 120mbs up/down wifi connection, and great mobile reception from a new tower in the town.

Getting there

Ballan is easy to get to with Public Transport from Southern Cross Station, or a short trip by car. Check the map below! We’ll also be shuttling people from Ballan Station to the festival site to make it even easier.
